NUMA have a combined total of 705 staff covering expertise in the following: broadcasting; justice; health; education and social services with specialists in policy analysis, banking, information, technology and property development. Critical to the development of innovation and change with existing services are

our Maori taonga (kaiako, kaiarahi, kaimahi, kaumatua,
kuia, rangatahi) and membership on National Boards ;i.e: Maori Nursing Council, Maori Broadcasting, Maori Rugby League, Maori Womens Welfare League,and the National Parole Boards.
